At Happy Tails, we are honored to be able to care for your beloved canine family. Our policies and procedures we have in place allow us to provide the quality care we are known for. These policies also ensure the safety of all of our pets and staff. We appreciate your understanding and if you have any questions or concerns, we will be happy to discuss with you further.


Cancellation & Reservation Changes
Updated November 2025
Advance notice of any adjustment to your reservation (cancellation, change of drop-off/pick-up day or time, or any other reservation change) is required. This helps us best serve our valued clients, maintain competitive rates, maintain safe staffing ratios, and continue to provide high-quality services. We greatly appreciate your support and understanding of the following policies and the respective fees.
*Advance notice and fees based on the original reservation requested.
*Fees apply without exception.

*Rescheduling a reservation is considered a cancellation, as we have already reserved the space.
Premium/Holiday Period Cancellations
Applies to reservations with at least 1 full day of boarding listed within the Premium Period.
Dates are updated annually and listed on our website as well as below.
14 Days or Less Advance Notice – 25% Total Due for Entire Scheduled Reservation
7 Days or Less Advance Notice – 50% Total Due for Entire Scheduled Reservation
72 Hours or Less Advance Notice – 75% Total Due for Entire Scheduled Reservation
48 Hours or Less, or "No-Show" – 100% Total Due for Entire Scheduled Reservation
Daycare Cancellations – At least 24 hours' notice is required or you'll be charged the full day.
Premium/Holiday Period Reservation Changes:

Customers may adjust their reservation through the Happy Tails Portal until 7 days before their reserved arrival time, and the invoice will be adjusted to reflect the updates.

Customers who make changes to their reservation within 7 days of arrival, or at any other time during their reservation, will still be responsible for the cost of the entire original reservation.
